Staying at Efteling Village Bosrijk is the best way to enjoy the Efteling; no more rushing through the park to see everything in one day. Efteling Village Bosrijk is situated right next door to the park. All apartments and houses have a unique décor with an Efteling theme.
We must say that everything was there to make our stay very convenient. Even night caps of Mr. Sandman, a story book, a board game on a table top and a toddler toilet seat for the kids. The house is furnished like everything is in the Efteling, they just do everything in their power to make every detail perfect. Don’t expect an over-the-top luxury design accommodation, but just enjoy staying in this unique magical village. We loved it!
If you stay at Efteling Village Bosrijk or the Efteling Hotel you can enter the park half an hour before it opens, so you are first in line for the more exciting rides. The Efteling uses themes based on the seasons. Spring, summer, fall and winter; each have their own taste. From cheerful crocuses in the spring to merry snowflakes in wintertime. The park is themed into four distinct areas (the fairy realm Marerijk, the travel realm Reizenrijk, the adventure realm Ruigrijk and the alternative realm Anderrijk). All areas offer a nice mix of attractions for all ages which fit seamlessly within the setting. There are a lot of brilliant rides and fantastic shows! But also something to do for the smallest guests, like Carnaval Festival, numerous playgrounds and the Fairytale Forest. Well, that’s the magic of Efteling: even when you are not on one of their fantastic rides the attention to detail is just so amazing you are having an experience just by being there. Don’t forget to visit the spectacular Aquanura water fountain show which happens at the end of the day and is set around the music that is featured in the park. A wonderful ending of a magical day!
Our whole stay was magical and we can’t recommend it enough to families with children of all ages. Definitely one of the best theme parks in Europe!
