The Hotel & the family
After a complete renovation and the construction of a new wing, Hotel De Blanke Top reopened December 2019. The plan to honor the surrounding nature was worked out by Arcas Architects and Studio Linse on the drawing board. With earthy colors, natural materials and soft fabrics, they realized an oasis of tranquility.
In the 1960s the Nico and Henriëtte de Milliano couple took over a hotel-cafe-restaurant from the previous decade. Daughter Monique, son René and his wife Brigitte copied the excellent hospitality with their parents and transformed the bathhouse into a stylish hotel. Today, the third generation is at the helm: Kimm de Milliano and Anne-Laure de Milliano lead the hotel with Anne-Laure’s husband, Olivier Bott, and Patrick Dielen.
Rooms & suites
The “De Blanke Top” hotel in Cadzand-Bad offers 15 different rooms and suites in the old and new buildings – depending on individual needs, comfort and space requirements as a solo traveler, couple or family; all rooms have balconies – some are heated – and a view of the North Sea or inland. The beautiful sandy colors, natural materials and soft fabrics are a tribute to the tranquility of the surrounding nature.
Luxurious linnn & king-size beds
Rest under the luxurious bed linen of your king-size bed. From your room you can enjoy the view of the rustling North Sea, the beach or the Zeeland landscape. Come home and relax in your own seating area. From four-poster beds to multiple bedrooms: each suite is unique in its own way. There are also amazing family rooms and suites available: with always enough space for the whole family, complete with great bunk beds for the kids.
The restaurants
In all the restaurants of Hotel De Blanke Top, creativity and local, sustainable ingredients set the tone for a refreshing culinary experience.
The beach, the waves and the dunes come together in a gastronomic dinner. In Restaurant Le Sommet you can taste a culinary story through various amuses, compositions and refreshments.
Chef Philipse brings aroma, texture and international flavors together in a gastronomic 4, 5 or 6-course menu. Sommelier Patrick Corijn completes your evening with a range of the most beautiful wines. Bar Brasserie Henriette is an ode to the kitchen of grandmother Henriette de Milliano. From the terrace you can enjoy the Zeeland outdoor life sheltered, inside the beach extends behind the large windows.
Dunes breakfast
Every morning you’ll be able to enjoy a big and fresh breakfast buffet in Restaurant Dunes. The amazing breads, local cheeses and fresh eggs, togheter with the sea view from the restaurant will make you start your day the best possible way.
The wine house
The perfect place for a unforgettable moment with friends or a surprising tasting with colleagues. In The Wine House you will become acquainted with the best international wines. In addition, Sommelier Patrick Corijn will be more than happy to tell you more about different grape varieties and the most beautiful wineries in the world.
