The area
The port of Scheveningen is always bursting with activity! Cotters that sail to catch the best fish, sailing yachts mooring here and day trippers strolling towards a nice restaurant. Scheveningen is not only a center for the fish trade, but also the place where many special restaurants and eateries are located. The view of the marina, the activity of the fish market and the fresh sea air provide a unique area.
Waterproef

Vinotheque
On the first floor of the restaurant, a beautiful space has been set up with more than 1000 of Waterproef’s most beautiful bottles of wine. The space can be used for intimate wine dinners and tastings with friends or business relations.
Private dining
Wether you are looking for a room for a private party, lunch meeting or corporate dinner? Waterproef offers a private dining room, perfect for all occassions. The private dining room can accommodate up to 12 people.
New is ”De Vinotheek”. This is a unique room decorated with more than 1,500 of our finest wine bottles and is therefore very suitable to organize tasting sessions and intimate wine dinners with your family or business associates.
