The James Royal Palm: a perfect trendy Art Deco Hotel South Beach style near Ocean Drive with ocean views, sweeping grounds and sunloungers speckled around two pools. Inside, the hotel houses a trendy restaurant, a rum bar and a nightclub.
This 393-room hotel, a towering 1939 Art Deco gem that reopened under the James’s ownership, exudes the kind of laid-back luxury that has come to define the James brand since it opened its first hotel in Chicago in 2006. The hotel’s clean yet eclectic aesthetic, from the palm-lined and fountain-filled entrance to its midcentury décor, fits in perfectly with the area’s mix of glamour and beach. Between its two connected 17-story towers are two restaurants, three night spots and two swimming pools.
The James Royal Palm is located on Collins Avenue and has direct access to the Atlantic Ocean. It’s a few blocks from Lincoln Road’s restaurants and shops.
The rooms are modern and sophisticated, with a well stocked minibar and original paintings by local artists. You have to pay a daily “beach fee,” but they get a lot in return, including free bikes, paddleboards, umbrellas, beach chairs, and fitness classes.
One of the best hotels in Miami Beach, enjoy!!
