Rooms and suites offer the perfect relief after exploring Groningen. Finished with sleek and contemporary design, the rooms’ textured fabrics, beautiful wood finishes, large windows and strategic lighting placement work together to achieve a divine ambiance. Our spacious Deluxe Plus Room had everything we needed: Nespresso machine, mini desk, seating area, stunning bathroom, most comfortable bed, hairdryer, iron, even a small kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. And a balcony with a view of the Grote Markt. When traveling with kids like we did, two adjoining rooms connected with a door is possible and create extra space and calm.

Bakery Westers offers the best freshly baked sandwiches and coffee during breakfast and lunch. The fresh breakfast buffet with carefully selected products in the beautiful Café Willem Albert provided everything we needed for the perfect start of the day. From Sunday to Wednesday, you can also enjoy an extensive The Market High Tea. At the pastry shop, there is a wide variety of pastries, pies and biscuits. Nice detail: the hotel is located between two squares. There is a terrace on both sides of the hotel, directly on the squares!
